The pensive pine, adorning of the lot,
Allows for light, around, above, below:
The seeker finds forever what is sought,
But to accept the Universal Flow!

The Sacred Source is gracious to the glass,
Which but reflects the machiavellian mind:
Before the Beam, the bauble turns to brass,
Beyond the which the filters that we find!

Behold the bough, so steady and so still -
At hand the art, the arbour, and the awe:
The needle knows the Warbling of the Will,
Which hearers hear as Universal Law!

Before you now the picture of the pine,
That God decrees one day you must define!

SPIRITWALKING PRAYER

Oh Great Creator,
You Who know all things,
Who sense all things,
Who hear all things,
Who see all things,
Who remember all things,
Know me for my being,
In all of my aspects,
Accepting me as I am, that, in time,
I may come to accept myself, in kind.
Sense in me a portion
Of Your own Essence,
That I may be as a reflection of You,
Allowing that others may sense also.
Hear my songs, as you hear those
Of the Hummingbird, 
As I go in my pursuit of peace,
Here in my Spiritwalking days.
See my wings beating in flight,
As I traverse Your endless skies,
Never fearful, never encumbered 
In this my world of light and of shadow.
Remember me in each of my hours,
Be they hours of joy or of sorrow, and
Above all, remember me in that hour
Of the Most Great Remembrance.

THE TEACHER THAT IS PAIN

What better teacher
than my pains, my oh so
undeniable pains,
my heart and soul
into my labors and my longings,
my sweat and tears
as much a reality as ever
was a summer's rain,
bringing out the furrows,
else a virgin's flow,
when nature took its course
What better teacher
than my pains, when comes
my time of peace, when all is still,
the storm subsided,
and my words pour out,
speaking of my new consciousness
and of my new view,
the proofs so much in evidence,
that even my foremost detractors
are seen taking to the fields
in search of a serious toiling.

SHOOTING STAR

Let me fall apart with a broken heart
I will come to life anew
Ive a mind that clears when the pain appears
For my soul comes shining through
In the scheme of things are the golden rings
Of a heaven that's so broad
Let the sky to fall with the stars and all
I will always hear from God
And I'll travel far like a shooting star
As it soars across the sky
Since the dawn of time I've had hills to climb
But today Ive learned to fly

THE TALKING CIRCLE

Come, friends, let us gather.
Let us assemble, and speak.
We have here the Talking Circle.
Great are its mysteries.
Come, then, let us be seated.
Let us see what comes of it.
Do you hear the silence?
The silence is the secret.
The secret is sacred.
Because of the Circle we have words.
With our words we break the silence.
Breaking the silence releases
The secrets.
This is how the mysteries
Are revealed.
Mysteries are forever.
Come, then, let us gather.
Let us assemble, and speak.
